SAN ANTONIO — Tim Duncan is back with a new deal, Tony Parker’s eye cut in a nightclub brawl is on the mend and Manu Ginobili returns with more Olympics mileage on his aging body. The San Antonio Spurs reported for training camp Monday looking the same as always but out for a different result after falling short of the NBA finals.

For Duncan, who signed a three-year contract extension with the Spurs over the summer, said there was never a doubt on whether he would return to play and that he’d resign with the only team he’s played with at the professional level.
