The massacre occurred during a Sunday mass, but it wasn’t an ordinary Sunday — this was the great feast of Pentecost, which marks the end of the Easter season.

What’s more, the gunmen didn’t strike in tense northern Nigeria, where Christian communities are isolated in a majority-Muslim region. This 30-minute attack was inside St. Francis Catholic Church, located in the safer southwestern state of Ondo.

I share your concern and lack of it from the west. Unfortunately, Americans are showing blatant disregard for human life here in America; no substantial gun control laws, allowing people to needlessly die by not providing universal access to healthcare, building walls to keep human beings from escaping violence, drugs, gangs and human trafficking. Mr. Mattingly, Americans are callous towards human... life even at home.
