Friends of the Dry Comal Creek

Mike Zimmerman with Friends of the Dry Comal Creek presents adverse affects of quarry to Bulverde community members.

The Friends of the Dry Comal Creek held a public information meeting about possible effects of a planned Vulcan Materials quarry on Thursday night at Bulverde Activity Center.

This presentation was intended as preparation for a yet unscheduled Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) public input meeting to be held next year. This upcoming meeting will gather comment on passage of the air quality permit Vulcan requires to proceed in development of the Comal quarry.
