During the course of the year, New Braunfelsers saw the cancellation of many beloved events and traditions, but as the months have worn on, they’ve seen something else emerge — resilience and adaptability. Nonprofits’ event organizers have worked to find newer, safer ways to bring the holiday spirit to the Hill Country, and whether it’s shopping for artisan goods, viewing elaborate Christmas displays or watching Yuletide celebrations on stage, there is something for everyone in New Braunfels this December.

Ready to get into the Christmas spirit? Put on your most festive mask, pack a thermos of wassail and head out to enjoy the sights. Or, don your coziest flannel and enjoy the festivities from the comfort and safety of your couch.

Keep in mind that event statuses are continually changing, so check the organizer’s website or Facebook page as the event date nears. And, watch the Herald-Zeitung for additional events and event updates as they are announced.
