Robert Earl Keen

It was the summer of 1972 when I heard Listen to the Music by a new band called the Doobie Brothers. I remember that the song sounded so unlike anything else on the radio at the time.

I bought their first album titled Toulouse Street and became an instant fan. Back then when you bought an album, you read the liner notes, the song lyrics, and listened to the entire album.
