There was no shortage of splashing on Wednesday after the skies darkened and the rains came down. The first real cold front of the season pushed through the area in the morning hours bringing plenty of rainfall with it. That sent people for their raincoats and umbrellas and caused drivers to slow down along slick roads with sizable ponding water.
