Mr. and Mrs. Logan Wayne Newsom
Miss Jenny Bett LyBrand and Mr. Logan Wayne Newsom were united in marriage on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at half past seven in the evening at first United Methodist Church of New Braunfels. The ceremony was officiated by The Reverend Harold Sassman and Mr. Cecil Eager, and music was provided by organist Orleane Megason and soloist Claire Cunningham. Scripture reading was given by Mr. Robert Joseph DiFonzo, brother in law of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius L. LyBrand III of New Braunfels. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harrison Bradley of New Braunfels, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius L. LyBrand. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Wayne Newsom, and the late Cecyle Jo Newsom of Ballinger, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Newsom of Levelland, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Marrow of Levelland, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hyde of Rocksprings, Texas.
Serving as matron of honor was the sister of the bride, Grayson LyBrand DiFonzo of Dallas. Bridesmaids included Kasie Smith, Abby Carlisle, Kate Tjernagel, Amanda Jones, Cameron Cartwright, Angela Jeree Panebianco, and Reagan Flume.
Serving as best men were the brothers of the groom, Conner Graham Newsom and Cooper Jo Newsom of Ballinger. Groomsmen were Rhett Pipkin, Chase Long, Kyle Berend, Chance Chondron, Wes Vanicek, and Collin Henry. Ushers were Ross LyBrand, Bradley LyBrand, Anthony Huerta, Chance Neff, Dirk Bitner and Jody Thomas.
Flower girls were Sophia LyBrand, Finley Warnier, and Cydney Newsom. The ring bearer was Mason Newsom.
The bride’s family hosted a reception at the historic Courtyard of McAdoo’s Seafood Company, located in downtown New Braunfels .
Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Brownwood, Texas.
