Trinidad R. Perez, age 68 of New Braunfels, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2006 at McKenna Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Perez was born on July 13, 1938, in Seguin, Texas, to Trinidad O. Perez and Feliciana (Riojas) Perez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Erlinda Perez; children San Juanita Henry and husband John of Forest Park, GA, Diana Aguirre and husband Mike III of New Braunfels; Roberto Perez and wife Geri of San Antonio; and Rosemary Cardenas and John Eavenson of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Christopher Garcia, Nicole Garcia, Joshua Henry, Miguel Aguirre IV, Adriana Aguirre, Jeremy Perez, Joshua Perez, Ryan Cardenas and Melinda and Brandon Cardenas; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Thomas, Andrew, and Jadon; brothers, Michael Perez, Mario Perez, and Louie Perez all of San Antonio; sisters, Sylvia Garza, Margie McClusky and Rosario DeLeon all of San Antonio; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Manuel Perez.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ousley, Dr. Dabas, Dr. Hickman, and all the nurses that took care of him while at McKenna Memorial Hospital.
Public visitation began at 12 noon Tuesday and will continue until 9 p.m. Wednesday. A Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Wednesday at Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Jim Wasser-M.S.F.- Celebrant. Interment will follow at Comal Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Family Catholic Church.
Pall bearers will be: Michael Perez, Roberto Perez, Christopher Garcia, Ryan Cardenas, Brandon Cardenas and Miguel Aguirre IV. Honorary pall bearers are Jeremy Perez Joshua Perez, and Joshua Henry.
