Charles Elmo Borman
Charles Elmo Borman, age 62, of Cibolo, Texas, passed from this life on Nov. 9, 2009. He was born June 14, 1947, in San Antonio to Elmo Alwin and Helen Day Borman. Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Louise (nee Schaefer) Borman, his parents and his brother, Jay.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Channa Erin Borman Eckert and husband, Tom, of Bryan, Texas, and Melody Lynne Borman and husband, Joe Hicks, of Prattville, AL, and two adoring grandchildren, Emma Elisabeth and Lilly Woodson Eckert; his brothers, Marshall Borman and wife, Ginger of New Braunfels, Allen Borman and wife, Margaret of LaGrange, Texas, and sister, Beth Dodson of Humble, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He served in the U. S. Army in Viet Nam. He was a devoted husband, caring father and doting grandfather.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Schertz Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Flowers would be appreciated or memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
