Mr. and Mrs. Max R. Balser of New Braunfels are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristan Michelle Balser to Blake Austin Gore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary J. Gore of Texarkana, Texas.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Canyon High School and a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in Bioenvironmental Science. She currently works as an Environmental Consultant for Providence Engineering in Irving, Texas. Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Texas High School in Texarkana and will graduate in August 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University where he was active with the Corps of Cadets and Ross Volunteers.
The couple will be united in marriage on August 8, 2009 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Austin.
