Phil L. “Bud” Anhorn, 83, of Madison Lake and Owatonna, Minn., died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Bud was born Sept. 30, 1926 in Deerfield Township, Minn., the son of George and Teresa (Tully) Anhorn. He was united in marriage to Harriet Wesley on June 22, 1948 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In later years, Bud and Harriet enjoyed spending winter months in New Braunfels. Harriet died in 1998. Bud worked for Hope Creamery hauling milk for over 30 years before retiring in 1988.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna. Military honors will be provided by the Steele County Military Funeral Unit.
