Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Wayne Lackey
Matthew Wayne Lackey and Jeana Teresa Fasano were united in marriage on May 9, 2009 at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church in LaCoste, Texas, by Reverend Father J. Paul Cleary. The parents of the groom are Russell and Karen Lackey of New Braunfels and the parents of the bride are John and Bette Fasano of Weslaco, Texas.
Jeana was escorted by her father, John Fasano. She wore a strapless gown of ivory Chantilly lace with a sweetheart neckline. The bride carried a bouquet of fresh pink and white roses. The matron of honor was Julie Beard, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Carrie Hradecky, Christina Reyna, and Ashley Worley, all friends of the bride. Each bridesmaid wore a different style tea rose J. Crew knee length dress. They carried bouquets of fresh white roses.
The best man was Travis Wibracht, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Jeff Baker, Josh Farrimond, friends of the groom, and Dustin Tays, cousin of the groom. The ushers were Kenny Brunette, Curt Covington, and Nick Garcia, friends of the groom. Readers were Kelly Santos and Sarah Zinsmeyer, cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner, and dance were held at The Hofmann Ranch in Castroville, Texas. The layered ivory bride's cake was designed by Ultimate Cheesecake of San Antonio. The groom's cake was a chocolate layer cake, topped with white and maroon initials to represent Texas A&M. The bride and groom are both graduates of Texas A&M University . The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the party room at The Hotel Alsace in Castroville. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Rocco Fasano of Donna, Texas, Mrs. Jeanice Zinsmeyer Dube of D'Hanis, Texas, and the late Jack Zinsmeyer. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Curt J. Saur and Mr. and Mrs. Georege E. Lackey, both of New Braunfels. The bride is employed at Clear Channel in San Antonio. The groom is self-employed as the owner of Texas Soil and Stone Outfitters in San Antonio.
After a wedding trip to the island of Kauai, Hawaii, the couple will reside in San Antonio.
