Ashley Nicole Wersterfer and Cody Patrick Erben

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wersterfer of New Braunfels are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Wersterfer, to Cody Patrick Erben, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Erben of New Braunfels.

Grandparents of the bride-elect are Ben and Allene Friedel, Barbara Wersterfer and the late Nolan Wersterfer, all of New Braunfels. Grandparents of the prospective groom are the late Chester and Frances Erben and the late Quentin and Clara Soechting, all of New Braunfels.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of New Braunfels High School and a 2007 graduate of Texas State University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in Education. She currently works as a teacher and coach at New Braunfels Middle School. Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of New Braunfels High School and attended The University of Texas at San Antonio where he played baseball. He is currently employed with Blue Bell Creameries.

The couple will be united in marriage July 31, 2010 at First Protestant Church in New Braunfels.
