SPRING BRANCH — Smithson Valley maintained its hold on first place in District 27-6A Friday night after sweeping Steele 3-0 at home.

The Lady Rangers (8-2, 5-0) prevailed by scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-12 to remain the only unbeaten team in league play.
