FISCHER — With non-district play now finished, it’s time for some of the top contenders in the San Antonio area to do battle within District 27-6A.

New Braunfels (2-0) kicks off its league schedule at home against Judson, which fell 37-0 last week to DeSoto in its 2020 season opener. However, Unicorns head coach Glenn Mangold said that outcome doesn’t reflect the amount of talent the Rockets possess.
