When do we celebrate Straight Pride? We celebrate Gay Pride Month, Black History Month, the Me Too movement for Women’s Rights. We display Mexican flags and burn American flags. At sporting events we disrespect our own flag and national anthem as well as celebrating foreign holidays.

I don’t care what people do in the privacy of their own homes, but to keep shoving these ideas down our throats I find objectionable.

I welcome all persons to this country of ours, but find that Muslim extremists are in our ruling body. Those coming into this land of opportunity should show allegiance to America, otherwise they can go back to where they cam from.

One candidate says that if we have a problem with his sexuality, talk to his creator. If we want to invite religion into the conversation I remind him that his maker has made clear how he deals with how we should conduct ourselves or he may find himself mayor of Sodom or Gomorrah and that didn’t work out too well.

Another issue that is so misinformed is abortion. We are told that women have the right to control their own bodies. I agree they have that choice and it starts with the choice of birth control preventatives or the oldest method, having a headache.

That is when she should have control of her own body. It’s murder if someone stabs a pregnant woman and kills the unborn child, but if a doctor does it, it is a woman’s right to control her own body.”

I believe that the silent majority might agree with how I see these issues but are afraid of being called a racist, homophobe, Islamophobe and the list goes on.

I am tired of not having a community or a movement. I feel that as a straight, white American male, working, paying taxes, that I am the minority that needs protecting. I am not even a protected class under the hate crime laws.
