Peter C. Warner, age 76 of Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, February 2, 2017.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann “Bobbie” (Miller); his siblings and their spouses; his sister: Mary Kaye and Charles P. Adams, Pasadena, CA; his brothers: Patrick J. and Susan (Shea), Springfield, PA; John C. and Patricia (Thissen), Columbia Heights, MN; his aunt Margaret Warner Walsvick, Mankato, MN, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Peter was born, December 16, 1940 in Mankato, MN to the late Peter A. and Maxine Warner. He attended SS Peter & Paul’s Grade School; graduated from Loyola High School and Mankato State University.
Peter made friends wherever he went, through work, his parishes, his neighborhoods. Throughout his varied career he wore many hats: Captain in the US Air Force, Aetna, Ashton Tate, a small business owner, Salvation Army, realtor. The hat he wore the best was Uncle Peter to his many friends and nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be in San Antonio, TX and will be laid to rest at The Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery later this spring. The family asks that in Peter’s name you extend kindness to your fellow man and all creatures.
