James Alan (Jimmy) Seibert went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 11, 2019 at the age of 58. Born December 20, 1960, to Leroy and Peggy Jo Seibert in New Braunfels, Texas, Jimmy lived in New Braunfels his entire life. He worked for Wholesale Beers for 26 years before he was able to pursue his passion of opening a restaurant, Brothers in New Braunfels and subsequently, Crossroads Cafe in Cuero, Texas. Jimmy loved to cook for anyone and everyone, but he especially loved cooking for his family. Jimmy never met a stranger and loved to play cards, bowl, and spend time with friends and family, especially his grandbabies. He was actively involved in the community whether it be with the Comal County Fair Association or the New Braunfels Elks Lodge.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his angel and soul-mate, Cindy Marek-Kissel; son, Jerrod Seibert (Kate); daughter, Jordan Matt (Ross); grandchildren, Madison Seibert, Cason Seibert, Ellisyn Seibert, Emersyn Seibert, Brylynn Matt and Jensen Matt; sisters and brothers, Debbie Jones (Frank), Richard Seibert (Diana), Lori Roberts, Jana Seibert, Jon Seibert (Lynlee), Jo Marie Montague (Warren) and Leroy Seibert (Megan).
He is also survived by his ex-wife Jana Seibert; stepmother, Gail Seibert; stepsisters and stepbrothers; Carl Miller (Carol), Candace Tinney, Cynthia Girouard (Bubba), Bruce Conran (Heidi), Scott Conran (Lisa), Dennis Conran (Sharon); extended family, Dennie Marek, Denise and Stephen Plumb and children Ava and Andie, and Kim Pieper and children Hunter, Hayden and Holden; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Braunfels Elks Lodge #2279, 353 S. Seguin Street, New Braunfels, Texas.
