Comal County Metro Task Force officers on Thursday arrested two New Braunfels men who were later jailed on drug and child endangerment charges.

Contacted Friday, Comal County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrests but could not provide further information. County jail records indicated the men were arrested at 6:30 a.m. and booked into the lockup at sbout 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

J.C. Castilleja, 38, was charged with two counts of manufacture and/or delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, between 4 and 200 grams; two counts of abandonment or endangerment of a child under 15; and unlawful possession of metal or body armor by a felon. He remained jailed Friday under bonds totaling $500,000.

Orlando Martinez Campos, 39, was charged with one count of manufacture and/or delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, between 4 and 200 grams; and one count of abandonment or endangering a child under 15. He also remained jailed Friday under bonds totaling $110,000.
