Wentworth selected for Texas Women’s Health Champion Award

The Texas District (XI) of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) has selected State Senator Jeff Wentworth (R-San Antonio) to receive its 2012 Texas Women’s Health Champion Award.

“I’ve always believed that a woman’s health care should be decided between her and her physician, and not dictated by Texas legislators,” Wentworth said. “That’s why I voted against government intrusion into that most private relationship during the 2011 legislative session.”
