Authorities are investigating an alleged instance of indecent exposure as a person reportedly exposed himself to two children on their way to school and adults Thursday morning in New Braunfels.

The New Braunfels Police Department before noon Thursday released a photo and a brief description of a suspect on its Facebook page. Police described the suspect as being a white male wearing black shorts and a black jacket with the number “2” printed on the back.

The suspect was seen last in the area of Pahmeyer and West County Line roads in the city, police said.

NBPD’s social media post said the suspect exposed himself to two students on their way to school, and did so also to two adults in the same vicinity.

Administration at the New Braunfels Independent School District sent a letter to parents informing them of the occurrence. The district’s letter identified the children as being middle school students and the adults as two employees of the district.

Parents of the students involved had been notified, the district’s emailed letter said.

Both agencies asked that anyone with information about the suspect contact police using the department’s emergency number, 911, or non emergency number, 830-221-4100.
