Élan – Westpointe, a senior lifestyle retirement community, is now under construction at Westpointe Village in New Braunfes, according to a news release from Titan Senior Living.

Élan is serving a critical role in the deep systemic changes that are occurring in senior living, the release stated. Today’s seniors live longer, healthier, more prosperous lifestyles — and are not willing to sacrifice any of it in retirement.

Plans call for a three-story assisted-living building with 75 units and an attached one-story memory support wing with 38 units and common spaces.

The $22 million project will be at the intersection of Oak Run Parkway and Independence Drive.

“Our senior living communities are built for the next generation and are designed and operated for residents to thrive in an environment that feels like home,” according to the release.

Titan Senior Living’s goal is to deliver beautiful surroundings, create an active lifestyle and environment and provide services geared toward the satisfaction and well-being of seniors, the release stated.

“Combining more than 25 years of design, development and construction experience with more than 40 years of senior living management and operating experience, Titan Senior Living delivers senior living environments that raise the bar in senior care and, more importantly, raise the quality of life and enjoyment of their residents,” according to the release.

Titan Senior Living is a collaboration between Titan Development and Des Moines-based LCS, according to published reports.

The former is one of the largest and most active real estate developers in the Southwest. Its projects include the Titan Industrial Park — a master-planned project spanning more than 300 acres of land in the cities of Selma and Schertz on the far Northeast Side of San Antonio.

LCS is a leading provider of management services for senior-living communities throughout the nation.
