Work on the New Braunfels Utilities’ Aquifer Storage and Recovery project continues at New Braunfels Regional Airport, reaching the next phase of its evolution.

The project, also known as ASR, consists of the direct injection of water from the NBU water system into the Brackish Edwards Aquifer for later recovery and use, especially during times of severe drought or peak summer demand.
