New Braunfels City Council members on Monday are expected to consider awarding funds as part of the COVID-19 Nonprofit Business Interruption Grant Program, administered by the McKenna Foundation on behalf of the city and supported by a federal government grant allocation.

The city recently received a special allocation of funds available under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, also known as CARES.
