Rusty Brockman

Rusty Brockman stands at the Central Texas Technology Center, a branch of higher education he helped bring to the area.

Next month, one of the long serving figures of the New Braunfels community will step down from one of his many roles.

Rusty Brockman has been the vice president of economic development at the chamber of commerce for 16 and a half years, and though he’ll step down in March from his position on the chamber staff, Brockman still plans on being a key figure in the community.

He was a Chamber employee paid with 4B taxpayer dollars. This was his job. Many people do good work at their jobs but aren't recognized in the newspaper.
