Like the Energizer bunny, Comal County’s population has kept growing and growing as residents move into homes and establish businesses.

The nation’s second-fastest growing county saw taxable values skyrocket in the past decade and especially in recent years, leading to increased taxes paid by owners of properties annually assessed by the Comal Appraisal District, headquartered in New Braunfels.
