Posted: Monday, July 21, 2014 11:25 pm

CLFEMS Chief Shawn Wherry said his EMS crews responded on Saturday to calls up and down the river’s banks.

We get flying ant swarms here at the lake about this time each year. For the most part, they're merely annoying. But to those with allergies, a reaction can definitely ruin one's day.

Must go skim the ants off the pool again...

Could the skin reactions be caused by poor water quality after the rain?
