Tall tale: Leading giraffe expert visits rare reticulated twins at Wildlife Ranch’s Longneck Learning Center

Anne Innis Dagg, one of the world’s leading experts on giraffes, had the opportunity this week at the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch to experience something she never had before — an interaction with very rare twin reticulated giraffes.

The 81-year-old zoologist, feminist, educator and author first traveled to South Africa in 1956 to pursue her passion and life goal of studying giraffes.
