A Comal County grand jury on March 13 indicted an Anahuac man in connection with charges stemming from the 2016 shooting death of a Canyon Lake woman.

Convening in 207th District Court, jurors handed up a bill charging William Joseph Griffin, now residing in Beaumont, with one count of tampering with a human corpse and three counts of tampering with physical evidence following the death 33-year-old Jennifer Morgan Rivers on June 26, 2016.
